Client// The Shaw Festival
The Shaw Festival is the second largest theatre festival in North America, and world-renowned for its powerful, provocative acting.
With a new Artistic Director for 2017 The Shaw decided it was time to modernize their entire image - including a fresh new website.
Project// Promise Cherry Beach
Each summer since 2001, Promise has set up an impressive sound system on the shore of Lake Ontario at Toronto’s Cherry Beach. The musical experience has been a major stage for local and international artists to feature their talents during the summer sun and well into the evening for a party under the stars.
Over the years, thousands of people of all backgrounds, ages, and interests have come and felt the delicious freedom of being at the beach in the heart of a great city. Picture hundreds of people picnicking and chatting around a dance floor on the sand. Promise Cherry Beach takes place on Sundays all through the summer.
An overarching main image for the 2018 season was created along with costume lineup & banners for each week. 14 weeks - each a different colour combination to reflect the changing sun and sky. The seasonal brand covered signage, wristbands, social media assets, and gifs.

Project// District Magazine Summer 2012
Client// 4th year Editorial Design
District Magazine is a fashion, art, and community focused magazine. Its goal is to highlight great people, businesses, and districts within Toronto. Home grown talent. Unlike most fashion focused magazines, District looks to highlight the little guys, and make it affordable to the masses while still remaining stylish.
Eden was a fundraiser event for Tarna the Art Car — a giant steel Jackalope in the making.
In order to sell out the 600 person venue I oversaw the creative direction of the event. This included the creation of a wordmark, social media assets, fliers and a photoshoot to inspire people’s costumes for the night and drive more ticket sales.
Creative direction did not stop there. I designed a custom stage for the event and oversaw a team in transporting guests to a whole new world with elaborate decorations and art from fellow artists.
Project// Branding Guide/ Logo Design
Client// 4th Year Identity Design at York University/Sheridan College
Zero Gravity Circus is a full service creative production house and agency with over a decade of experience. When approaching the redesign it was important to portray "an extraordinary world, where anything is possible."
The design used whimsical imagery and a dynamic brand to bring the circus to life. The logo with elements that appear to have zero gravity, are also fantasy like.
Project// Tarna the Art Car
Tarna is a giant community art project that I’m overseeing as Creative Director and core lead. When completed in spring 2019 she will be a massive steel jackalope mounted on a 2006 Ford CTV. Tarna has many different components from fire effects, interior design, metal fabrication, LED programming and a sound system ready to host a multitude of talented DJs.
Tarna is our champion and last hope. She holds within her the only remaining oasis and sanctuary of life in a world that has been ravaged by greed, selfishness, excess, and consumption.
Tarna fights to protect life as her warriors fight to protect her. Inspired by a love for nature, conservation, and fantasy, the idea for Tarna began with wanting to bring a piece of lush oasis to the barren and harsh landscape of Burning Man.

Project// Branding Guide/ Logo Design
Client// Rasputin Vodka Bar
After starting to receive backlash for their communist Russian appearance, it was time for Rasputin to set themselves apart from their vodka bar counterparts and establish themselves as welcoming and friendly.
The re-design was influenced by their traditional Eastern European food menu and the many Matryoshka dolls that decorated the bar. Many visual elements were taken from extensive research into Eastern European folk and the process that it takes to make vodka.
The final product was something unique to Rasputin’s culture and personality that not only sets it apart from its competitors, but also the negative political image it had before.
Client// The Merchant - A Travellers Tavern
The Merchant - A Travellers Tavern is a restaurant focused on craft in the heart of the Toronto financial district. They tasked me with the development of their logo, signage, food and drink menus along with a custom postcard that doubles as their billfold.
Taking influence from early trade routes, merchants, and craft I developed their brand.
